Arkane Studio's critically
applauded Dishonored is set to receive three packs of DLC, launching
simultaneously on Xbox 360, PC and PS3, with the first one arriving this
December.
The fist batch of Dishonored DLC is titled Dunwall City Trials and will set you back 400 Microsoft Points (£3.99). It will include 10 challenge maps designed to exploit Dishnored’s free-form approach to stealth and action, giving players the chance to experiment further with the game’s unique power system.
The second and third DLC packs will arrive in 2013 and, in a change to the Dunwall City Trials, will add to Dishonored’s narrative with a collection of story-driven missions.
Arkane isn’t fully revealing what these DLC missions will entail, only hinting that the second mission will allow you to play as a new character, Daud. The leader of a group of supernatural assassins called ‘The Whalers’, Daud will give players the chance of experimenting with a whole new weapons set as he explores new locations in Dunwell.
Arkane hasn’t revealed how much these narrative focused missions will cost, or exactly how long they are, but it should give fans of Dishonored’s gameplay the chance to experiment with new scenarios and characters.
