Windows 8 and 8.1 has a default feature to share a WiFi connection without using any third party apps. a few little tweaks in command prompt will make your Windows machine work as a WiFi Hotspot Easily. All you need is a working internet connection on your Windows machine. Either wired, USB or wireless connection can be used. Make sure you’ve a WiFi adapter on your device, especially desktop users.

Since most of the desktops only use ethernet connectivity, they won’t have WiFi adapter. So, if you don’t have WiFi connectivity on your machine, you cannot share WiFi with other devices. Lets have a look at the steps to convert your Windows machine into a WiFi hotspot.

So in this tutorial I will show 2 easy ways to share internet connection not just to create a wireless ad hoc connection in Windows 8.  One is By Using Third Party Tool and another one is without using any tool.

LG unveils an 18-inch flexible OLED display prototype

LG reveals 18-inch OLED display prototype, promises 60-inch rollable TVs by 2017

Electronics giant LG has developed an 18-inch Flexible OLED panel that can be rolled into a tube of a mere 3cm across. The prototype has 1200 x 810 pixels resolution and has a new polyamide film on the back panel which makes it very thin and extremely flexible.

LG's has also developed a new transparent OLED panel which makes images less hazy by increasing the light transmittance to 30 percent, compared to 10 percent common among current transparent LCD displays. The company also promises to deliver 60-inch flexible screens by 2017. According to LG Display's SVP and Head of R&D, In-Byung Kang, he's confident that "by 2017, we will successfully develop an Ultra HD flexible and transparent OLED panel of more than 60 inches." He added that the 2017 panel will have a transmittance of over 40% and a curvature radius of 100R.

LG Display has been investing heavily in OLED, and has announced plans to spend $655 million on manufacturing infrastructure for a factory in South Korea. LGD stated in a release that the market for large flexible displays will reach $6 billion by 2018, and to over $77 billion by 2025. The company added, that by 2023, the transparent flexible display market volume will be larger than the 'generic display market" and will reach $131 billion in revenues.

LG had announced 105 Ultra HD TVs at the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2014. The LG 105UB9 HD TV has 11 million pixel (5120 x 2160) screen resolution and is 3D capable with 240Hz motion-smoothing technology.

Nokia X is compatible with 75 percent of all Android apps.

Nokia released three Android phones in MWC, but none of them support Google services like Play Store. The company has created its own app store for the phones.

Nokia has said that even though its new Android phones do not run Google Services and have its own app store to download apps, the phones are still compatible with almost 75 percent of all the Android apps.

The Finnish smartphone manufacturer is now telling developers to submit their .apk files to the Nokia Store so that they are available on Nokia's own app store for the new Nokia phones.

Nokia recently released the Nokia X, X+ and XL without any access to Google Play Store and is now trying to follow Amazon's Kindle Fire OS path which might be irritating to many users.

To woo developers, Nokia has released the 'Nokia X services SDK' for developers which can be downloaded from here.

To make the work for developers even easier, Nokia has also launched a page where developers can check the compatibility of their apps with the new Nokia Android phones.

Nokia says that the most common compatibility issue in apps are their usage of Google Play services. Live wallpaper APIs have also been reported to be incompatible. Like Google apps, many Amazon apps are also incompatible as they require their own Amazon services.

Regarding the rest of the 25 percent incompatible apps, Nokia says that these apps need a little retouch which could take around 8 hours to port.

Nokia X, Nokia Xl hacked to run key Android apps

Hack suggests Nokia hasn't locked down the X smartphones heavily, enabling hackers to install key Android apps

Nokia's much-hyped Android-based X series smartphones didn't feature some popular Google services such as Google Maps and access to Google's Play store. Hackers, however, have come up with a process to run these key Google services on the Nokia X smartphones.

In a posting on the XDA developers forum, Spanish developer Kasha Malaga reveals how he was able to tweak the Nokia X to accept Google’s apps and services in mere five steps. He was also able to replace Nokia’s custom skin with the Android Now launcher.

His hack suggests the X smartphones aren't locked down too heavily, allowing apps such as Gmail, Google Now, Google Maps, and Hangouts to run on the developer handset. Here's a video of Kasha Malaga’s Nokia X hack:

Surprisingly, Nokia seem to be happy about the hack, stating it is "very excited to see progress is being made."

The new development comes shortly after Nokia on its official SDK page stated that its X series smartphones are capable of running about 75% Android apps without any alterations. To make things easier for developers, Nokia has launched a page where developers can check the compatibility of their apps with the new Nokia Android phones

Undo The Sent Mail - Gmail New Feature

How many times have you sent out an email only to later realize your mistake? Haven't you wished you could just cancel the sent mail or recall it? Well, using this little known Gmail feature, you actually can! Gmail lets users recall emails sent for a specific period after the mail is sent. You just need to go to settings and activate it. Follow the steps listed to recall your sent email.

1. Click on the Gear button on the top right corner of your screen. The Gear button appears right below your image for the Google Plus profile. Select ‘Settings’ from the dropdown menu.

2.You will now be presented with multiple tabbed options. Choose ‘Labs’ from the options present (third from the right) and scroll towards the bottom.

3.Third from the bottom, you will be presented with an option to ‘Undo Send’. Select Enable to the right of that option.

4. Scroll right to the bottom of the screen and click on the ‘Save Changes’ button. Wait, your Undo Send option might be activated, but there’s still more to be done.

5. Once you click ‘Save Changes’, you will be taken to your Inbox by default. Follow the first step and go to Settings option.

6. You will land on the ‘General’ tab by default. Scroll down the tab and somewhere in the middle, you will see the option to ‘Undo Send’. The option will already be ticked, confirming that your selection. Right below the tick mark, you can then choose the amount of time in which you can recall a sent email. You can choose anywhere from 5 seconds to 30 seconds.

7. Once you choose your time, scroll to the bottom and click on Save Changes.

Anti Facebook Addiction Keyboard

Robert R. Morris and Dan McDuff calculated that they were wasting about 50 hours a week on Facebook so to stop that from happening again they turned to Pavlovian method, Discovery News reported.

McDuff said that the keyboard is able to monitors application usage and if it senses that too much time is being spent on a particular website or application it give a shock to its users, asserting that the shock is just unpleasand and not dangerous.

The system that they have devised uses a Mac's UI Inspector for monitoring application usage and a processing code, which routes on-screen alert signals to an Arduino board that activates a relay and initiates a shock circuit.

That current is then passed on to conductive metal strips that is embedded in a keyboard rest pad.

Robot can hack your Android in 19 hours

Unless you’ve been living in a cave (one that isn’t equipped with free Wi-Fi), then you’re aware that privacy is sort of a big deal these days. Luckily, Android users have a numeric security code to block nasty hackers (or, you know, the government).

That’s secure, right? I mean, no one is going to go through the 10,000 or so combinations of numbers, just to break into a phone. That would take months, years even, of severe and unbroken focus. No human has that kind of determination.

Ahh, no, they don’t. But robots might. Justin Engler and Paul Vines know as much, so they built a robot they call the Robotic Reconfigurable Button Basher and more concisely call the R2B2. If you’re interesting in cracking into Android phones, head over to this year’s Defcon, where this guy’ll be unleashed.

The robot, as you can see in the video below, can go through every single numerical combination on an Android in 19 short hours. iOS devices lock you out after a few failures, so it doesn’t work on those. It also has trouble with screen patterns. But when it comes to Androids’ numerical protection, it's as easy as stealing candy from a baby. Easier, actually, since the robots have no programming when it comes to babies or candy.

Currently, the guys are working to break the aforementioned devices their robot have trouble with. They also want to be able to crack hotel-room safes and ATMs.

Oh yeah. And they built this baby for less than 200 bones, using parts and pieces they cobbled together. If this thing were manufactured, there’s a good argument that it would cost half that.

It should be noted that Engler is a security engineer, so he isn’t out to hack all of our phones. If he were, this would be a pretty dumb way to go about it. Rather, he wants to point out the holes in our security, of which there are many.

We live in a society so worried about privacy, but so lax on protection. It’ll be interesting to see if this spurs anyone into action when it comes to creating better security.

Weather Cell Phone Concept

                                                  Weather forecasting transparent cellphone

A new cool concept phone was created by designer Seunghan Song. A completely translucent touch-screen device which is called the Window Phone.

It was said that the window phone changes the surface by its surrounding climate. So you will see a clear screen on a sunny day, on a rainy day the display will show virtual raindrops and when it is snowing you will see a frosty looking interface.

When you go for the cellphone mode, just simply blow the phone, it moves into hand writing mode. Its so awesome and hopefully we could see it will be released some day.

Samsung Galaxy Heaven Concept Phone

With its ultra thin design and a flexible AMO LED, this concept from Samsung has many unsung features. The most important among those is the ability to project on to any surfaces so the size of the cellphone is no longer a limiting factor. It is very minimalistic in its looks but loaded with all the features of high end phones. The camera, video recording and audio abilities of the phone are expected to be on par with the best in business.

Android 5.0 - Key Lime Pie

As perfection leaves no scope of improvement, likewise in the smartphone market, Android has become a mobile operating system that despite of possessing a list of features, continues to deliver new add-ons via advancing versions. Android users now look forward to version 5.0 or what they are calling Key Lime Pie.

The OS from Google, battled iOS “smartly” and grabbed majority of the market quite vigorously. Android was accepted well by the users which motivated developers to work on it and keep enhancing the software so that it do not tatters out of the market. A outcome of which was the constantly updates versions of the OS – Ginger Bread, Honey Comb, Ice Cream Sandwich, Jelly Bean and now the upcoming Key Lime Pie.

Below are some of the features that you might come across when Google releases the new update:

Guest Mode: While 4.2 Jelly Bean delivered multiple-user feature to Android. It was much like using a different account on a PC. However KLP will supposedly bring a guest mode that will allow a non user to access unlocked widgets. A mode that will prevents access to SMS, phone storage and anything besides what the owner thinks will be appropriate for another person to look into.

Lockscreen and Widgets: One can already enjoy a host of apps and widgets on the Android 4.2 JB, but the quarter is going to expand on the locked screen with the upcoming update. One might be able to access the camera app from the lock screen much like in iOS with a finger motion with the edge of the screen.

Shutter Speed Control in Camera App: The feature already available on Nokia Lumia 920 and iOS 6 could next be seen in Android phones as well but for that, one would have to update to the new 5.0 version of the Google OS. Analysts suggest that KLP will provide a solution to this problem, the responsibility of which is often stuck to the diverse camera censors, provided by separate manufacturers. How far will they be able to resolve the issue, is yet unidentified.

Video Chat: Android still does not have a video chat app. Android 5.0 is expected to fill that void with an app, universal enough like Facebook and Skype.

Manual Option for Update: Some people feel that any update is being forced on them. It will be looked forward to, that KLP establishes a fundamental to choose, whether or not to update, hence snatching away the desire to use the current or elder version.
Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie release date is set for October, as it will arrive with a new version of Samsung-built Nexus 10.

Sony Nextep – Mobile Phone with a Holographic Projector

http://www.techmobis.com/weather-cell-phone/

Hiromi Kiriki has fathered this design for Sony. It is something that is very different from everything that we have seen in cellphones till now. No wonder that it has been named as the ‘Nextep’, symbolic of the future. It is more like a computer and cell phone rolled into one with all the essential features for browsing the net, social networking and the like. It has a flexible OLED display that neatly sits on your wrist like a wrist band or watch. A powerful Holographic projector too is in-built in the phone.

Concept Spider Computer

WEricsson’s new concept is a working Spider Computer. Initially meant as a computer for third world countries, but was changed to become something more of a portable computer during the study.Spider Computer, a portable device that relies on a projected screen and laser keyboard to offer you a ready computer on the go. That’s why it has three thin legs like a spider. When they are hidden, the device becomes a mobile phone. It can be simply put in your pocket. And when the legs are deployed, the device can easily be placed on a flat surface. This will be the computer. The mirror head opens, and the projection is directed towards the table surface or a wall. Digital correction compensates for angular differences in projection versus surface. Circular LCD display with graphic interface. Working prototype was made for technology, user studies and research.

The current prototype has a built-in pico projector, a laser keyboard and a memory card reader. Ericsson is working on a clever way to integrate a long lasting battery and of course internet connectivity.
Here’s the basic concept. One side of this thing has a pico projector that is good for a 30 inch projection. As for the other side, it projects a laser keyboard onto the table. It is a technology that has been around for a while, but hasn’t really taken off as yet. The device also has a memory card reader built right in.
Yes, this is still a concept, and Ericsson wants to develop one with a battery and 3G connectivity.
So are we looking at the replacing the desktop with this, or the notebook? If so, then we’re going to need a lot of wall space.

The Mouse That Can Float like…

Republic’s capital ‘Prague’ designing studio Kibardin Design has made very unique wireless mouse. The name of this mouse is ‘BAT’.
Its height from the pad is 40 mm but when an user hold the mouse the become 10 mm. The mouse is in testing face and soon it will be launch. Your hand will not pain because of its design.
Some people are merely far too attached to any scarce illusion whoever authentic lifestyle will never be verified nevertheless like a suspended unfamiliar spaceship popularly mentioned as UFO. I am able to assume that will Vadim Kibardin satisfies the actual stated stereotype because it is newest development is greatly inspired by means of a great not known hurtling thing. Named for the reason that Baseball bat, that computer mouse button floats previously mentioned it is mat whenever eventually left bored.

The trick hot sauce recipe involving the very expensive peripheral is for the magnet process included in both the mat plus the computer mouse button. This specific process prevents the actual computer mouse button coming from laying for the mat surface while also training this stably for the oxygen. The item may possibly not have the same intelligent performance including Self confidence! Smart mouse, but for geeks, nothing at all defeats it is advanced neatness. In any case, the actual author of the Baseball bat doen’t pattern that contraption just by flaunt. It truly is used to serve a purpose which often, in this case, is pretty unpredictable According to Kibardin Design, that computer mouse button is supposed to ease the actual numbness caused by carpal canal affliction. It’s an ailment commonly endured by means of serious players as well as laptop or computer consumers as well. The actual induce will be the damaged lack of feeling for the wrist that’s made worse because of the force made by the actual excess weight of this hands plus the difficult surface of the workplace
